Beauty Tips For Every Women Part 2

Protect Your Skin with Sunscreen

For all the women out there looking to keep their faces young and glowing, we have a beauty secret that will work wonders for you! What we are about to tell you may not sound like such a secret but, we assure you with the number of benefits that come for it, it is worth your time. Deciding to apply sunscreen every time your skin is exposed to the sun will leave you with remarkable differences.

Avoid Aging Skin

When using sunscreen more often, you will see results in how your skin ages. This includes fewer wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, freckles, and spider veins. When using sunscreen regularly you can avoid your skin looking loose and leathery and being consistent with your sunscreen will enable you to protect your skin from the damaging sun rays and help to keep you from aging early.

Avoiding aging with sunscreen is possible because of how it can protect the collagen in your skin. Sunscreen can protect the collagen in your skin to keep your skin looking naturally moist, plump, wrinkle-free and youthful. If you get enough sun exposure without sunscreen, you risk damaging the natural collagen in your skin that leads to wrinkles, lines, and sagging. Furthermore, applying sunscreen also helps to maintain an even skin tone with a smoother and softer feel for now and years to come.

Applying Sunscreen

If you apply sunscreen correctly you could end up saving some money in the long run when it comes to buying expensive anti-aging creams in the future. Although most tend to apply sunscreen wrong, we have put together a few tips for you to keep in mind.

Using last season’s sunscreen is not necessarily the best option for the ultimate coverage. Instead, run to your local store and purchase a new bottle for the season. As well, you will always want to check the date of sunscreen and ensure that it’s not close to its expiry.

When applying, you will want to lay it on thick. We suggest using a protectant that is SPF 15 or higher. If you are planning on being in the sun all day you should know that overtime the sun breaks down the effectiveness of the sunscreen and you should be re-applying every one to two hours or so. Lastly, if you plan to spend the day in the sun, you can apply your sunscreen under your makeup before your moisturizer. If you’re looking for extra protection throughout the day, consider touching up a light translucent mineral powder that has an SPF. These types of mineral powders actually contain sunscreen that can add some extra protection up to SPF 18 or 20 throughout the day.

Start Applying Now

Studies have been done from the American Academy of Dermatology showing that even with the slightest un-protection of the skin for just a few minutes daily, it can add up to noticeable effects with how the skin feels, looks, and ages over time. Start protecting your skin with sunscreen and reduce the risks of skin cancer and premature aging of the skin.
